About Me

Being a mother of three and a wife to a supportive husband for over 14 years is at the heart of my life. Through my family, I’ve learned firsthand about patience, empathy, and navigating life’s ups and downs—lessons that strongly influence the way I connect with others in my work.

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and am currently completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education. My background in both education and mental health has shaped a thoughtful, relational, and evidence-based approach to counselling.

My clinical interests include trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, dissociation, interpersonal difficulties, and ADHD. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, develop insight, and build practical strategies to support emotional regulation and wellbeing. I aim to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported in exploring difficult experiences at their own pace.

My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and EMDR. I place a strong emphasis on grounding, stabilization, and psychoeducation, helping clients understand how their experiences impact both the mind and body.

My work is informed by both professional training and lived experience, which allows me to approach counselling with empathy, humility, and authenticity. I believe counselling can support individuals in making sense of life’s challenges, strengthening self-understanding, and moving toward greater balance and meaning.

I work with clients ages 12 and up.
