Yes, we do offer direct billing; however, please let us know who you are insured through to make sure you are covered before coming to your appointment or check with your insurer as some companies may require the client to submit their own claim. We can also provide receipts for reimbursement if your insurer is not covered for direct billing.

  • I specialize in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) because it is a highly effective and is an evidence-based approach to treating a wide range of mental health issues. Here are a few reasons why CBT is my preferred method:

    1. Proven Effectiveness: Research has consistently shown that CBT is effective in treating conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and many others.
    2. Focus on the Present: CBT emphasizes the here-and-now, helping individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their current distress.
    3. Skill Building: This therapy equips clients with practical skills and strategies that they can use to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life long after therapy has ended.
    4. Structured Approach: CBT provides a structured framework that makes it easier for clients to set goals, track progress, and see tangible improvements over time.
    5. Empowerment: By teaching clients to become their own therapists, CBT empowers them to take control of their mental health and fosters a sense of self-efficacy.
